Thieves on municipal transportation need to take a California Theft Class! Recently, The SF Chronicle reports that theft on municipal transportation has taken off. Apparently there have been 161 reports of items stolen from passengers during the time period of October – December 2012. This compares to just 88 reports during the same period the year before. Robberies increased by almost 39%.
